Evening Workshops and Mosaic Maker Drop-In's in South London

Weekly evening mosaic workshops in 7 week blocks. Each evening runs from 8-10 pm at my studio in Tooting, London SW17. The course is suitable for beginners to intermediate and is run in a small class with lots of individual attention. There are also classes on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings for those with previous experience.

Jo Thorpe is an established and innovative mosaic artist who studied Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Art. She worked and taught for 10 years at the renowned Mosaic Workshop and her work is on display in several chapels at Westminster Cathedral. Her restoration projects include The National Portrait Gallery and The Victoria & Albert Museum. Commissioned pieces range from work in homes of Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank and singer Emma Bunton to large decorative panels for clothing label Maharishi and Aston Villa Football Club. She now runs her own business, Jo Thorpe Mosaic and her work has recently been featured in The Times newspaper and Homes and Gardens magazine.
