The Laurel Studios: Glass Art and Mosaics
The Laurel Studios is a unique location and concept in the Coastal Bend of southern Texas:
A working studio in glass arts: glassblowing ("hot glass) , kiln formed glass ("warm glass") and mosaics.
A learning center for the glass arts and rental facilities to practice them
A consultation and commission studio where people can learn how to enhance their homes and businesses with custom mosaics and glass art work
A gallery of Texas mosaicists' and local glass artists' creations for visual enjoyment, learning and purchase.

Laurel True teaches mosaic classes for all levels at the New Orleans School of Art and Craft and at Institute of Mosaic Art in Oakland, California.

Sonia is now teaching at the Creative Arts Center of Dallas.Available classes include two-day workshops as well as ten-week courses, available throughout the year. Both beginners and advanced students will benefit from instruction covering various techniques including direct, reverse, and pique-assiette as well as a wide range of materials, grouts and adhesives. The slide lecture includes examples of ancient and modern mosaics.
