Literally tap into the secrets of Pennsylvania sandstone, limestone, slate, shale and even coal by learning the ancient and singular art of hammer and hardie cutting. This two day beginner workshop will include a field trip along the Allegheny River to source material, an introduction to cutting stone, working in high quality thin-set mortar and Rachel''s unique approach to contemporary mosaic philosophy.
